Ils d\u00e9cident donc de s&rsquo;investir corps et \u00e2mes dans ce deuxi\u00e8me album (Strange Days). Il acc\u00e8de m\u00eame \u00e0 la requ\u00eate du groupe de voir figurer \u00e0 la r\u00e9gie ses propres techniciens (<strong>Paul Rothchild<\/strong> et <strong>Bruce Botnick<\/strong>). Comme neuf mois plus t\u00f4t avec les <a href=\"https:\/\/culturesco.com\/index.php\/2019\/06\/13\/rolling-stones-sticky-fingers-histoire-de-l-album-une-braguette-signee-warhol-et-un-label-stones-langue-rouge\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Rolling Stones<\/a>, il charge son producteur de brieffer ces jeunes esprits rebelles. Ce dernier a r\u00e9ussi \u00e0 convaincre <a href=\"https:\/\/culturesco.com\/index.php\/2019\/05\/22\/p-p-arnold-reprend-la-route\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Mick Jagger<\/a> de transformer \u00ab Let&rsquo;s spend the night together \u00bb en \u00ab Let&rsquo;s spend some time together \u00bb, mais sa t\u00e2che va se r\u00e9v\u00e9ler plus ardue avec Jim Morrison&#8230;<\/p>\n<h3>Premi\u00e8re et derni\u00e8re chez Ed Sullivan<\/h3>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">Le probl\u00e8me concerne \u00ab\u00a0Light My Fire \u00bb, texte sign\u00e9 <a href=\"https:\/\/fr.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Robby_Krieger\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Robby Krieger<\/a> et pourtant d\u00e9j\u00e0 diffus\u00e9 dans le monde entier. Quand on demande \u00e0 <a href=\"https:\/\/culturesco.com\/index.php\/2019\/09\/04\/le-premier-album-des-doors-une-porte-ouverte-sur-la-gloire-par-jim-morrison\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Jim Morrison<\/a> de trouver une parade \u00e0 l&rsquo;expression \u00a0\u00bb Get Higher\u00a0\u00bb ( ici synonyme de \u00ab\u00a0planer\u00a0\u00bb) sa premi\u00e8re r\u00e9ponse est : \u00ab Allez vous faire foutre ! \u00bb. La deuxi\u00e8me est moins agressive mais ne manque pas d&rsquo;ironie : \u00ab Et vous voulez quoi \u00e0 la place ? Let&rsquo;s spend the night together ?! \u00bb. Finalement, Jim ne change rien aux paroles. Encourag\u00e9 par <strong>Ray Manzarek<\/strong>, il pousse m\u00eame le fameux cri d\u00e9moniaque de <a href=\"https:\/\/fr.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Dean_Moriarty\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Dean Moriarty<\/a> en direct-live. Le producteur s&#8217;empresse de venir annoncer aux quatre membres, que jamais plus, ils ne remettront les pieds chez Ed Sullivan. Ce \u00e0 quoi, Jim aurait r\u00e9pondu : \u00ab Et alors ? A l&rsquo;occasion d&rsquo;une mini-tourn\u00e9e \u00e0 New York, Jim Morrison en profite pour faire de nouvelles rencontres. Celle tant esp\u00e9r\u00e9e d&rsquo;<a href=\"https:\/\/culturesco.com\/index.php\/2019\/02\/22\/songs-for-drella-lou-reed-et-john-cale-album-hommage-a-andy-warhol\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Andy Warhol<\/a> n&rsquo;a que peu d&rsquo;impact sur le jeune po\u00e8te, mais lui permet de rompre d\u00e9finitivement avec le snobisme intellectuel de la haute soci\u00e9t\u00e9. Comme en ce d\u00e9but de mois de septembre, o\u00f9 sur une sc\u00e8ne du New Jersey, Jim donne la pleine mesure de son talent. Cris f\u00e9roces et roucoulements de baryton, danse endiabl\u00e9e et saut de cabri ma\u00eetris\u00e9, sous l\u2019\u0153il fascin\u00e9 d&rsquo;un teenager nomm\u00e9 <a href=\"https:\/\/culturesco.com\/index.php\/2019\/06\/08\/bruce-springsteen-cover-le-boss-mis-a-nu-dans-un-livre-de-belkacem-bahlouli-disques-concerts-bootlegs-pirates\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Bruce Springsteen<\/a>&#8230;<\/p>\n<h3>Une oeuvre hant\u00e9e<\/h3>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">Si tout est r\u00e9uni pour que l&rsquo;enregistrement se fasse dans le calme et la s\u00e9r\u00e9nit\u00e9, l&rsquo;amour de l&rsquo;art va vite se retrouver \u00e9cras\u00e9 par le poids des exigences financi\u00e8res. Bien que le groupe dispose d\u00e9j\u00e0 d&rsquo;une mati\u00e8re suffisante, <a href=\"https:\/\/culturesco.com\/index.php\/2019\/09\/04\/le-premier-album-des-doors-une-porte-ouverte-sur-la-gloire-par-jim-morrison\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Elektra<\/a> ayant re\u00e7u plus de 500 mille pr\u00e9-commandes va mettre la pression sur <strong>Morrison<\/strong> et <strong>Krieger<\/strong> afin qu&rsquo;ils d\u00e9gagent un tube de leurs compositions sombres et inqui\u00e9tantes.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">En effet, le titre \u00e9ponyme ouvrant ce deuxi\u00e8me album, suinte l&rsquo;angoisse et la parano\u00efa. Rothchild leur fait accepter la pr\u00e9sence d&rsquo;un bassiste. <strong>Doug Lubahn<\/strong> (Clear Light) donne une certaine vitalit\u00e9 \u00e0 l&rsquo;album, notamment sur ce titre blues-rock. Le texte sign\u00e9 par le guitariste <strong>Robby Krieger<\/strong> \u00e9voque un jeune soldat demandant \u00e0 sa compagne de l&rsquo;aimer deux fois avant son d\u00e9part pour le Vietnam. Il le serait s\u00fbrement rest\u00e9 s\u2019il n\u2019avait rencontr\u00e9 <strong>Ray Manzarek<\/strong> \u00e0 l\u2019UCLA en 1964. Au cours de l\u2019\u00e9t\u00e9 1965, <a href=\"https:\/\/culturesco.com\/index.php\/2019\/09\/04\/le-premier-album-des-doors-une-porte-ouverte-sur-la-gloire-par-jim-morrison\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">il retrouve par hasard le futur organiste<\/a> des <strong>Doors<\/strong> sur la plage de Venice Beach et lui lit quelques uns de ses po\u00e8mes dont le somptueux Moonlight Drive :<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\"><strong>\u00ab\u00a0Let\u2019s swim to the moon, let\u2019s climb through the tide<\/strong><br \/>\nAllons nager jusqu\u2019\u00e0 la lune, \u00e9levons nous \u00e0 travers la mar\u00e9e,<br \/>\n<strong>Penetrate the evening that the city sleeps to hide<\/strong>,<br \/>\nP\u00e9n\u00e9trons le soir o\u00f9 la ville dort pour se cacher,<br \/>\n<strong>Let\u2019s swim out tonight love, it\u2019s our turn to try<\/strong><br \/>\nAllons nager ce soir, mon amour, c\u2019est notre tour d&rsquo;essayer,<br \/>\n<strong>Parked beside the ocean on our, Moonlight drive<\/strong>.\u00a0\u00bb<br \/>\nGar\u00e9s pr\u00e8s de l\u2019oc\u00e9an, apr\u00e8s avoir roul\u00e9 au clair de lune.<\/p>\n<h3>Moonlight Drive, titre fondateur du groupe et de Strange Days<\/h3>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">Ebahi par son talent, Manzarek lui propose alors de former un groupe de rock. Deux ans plus tard, <strong>Moonlight Drive<\/strong> voit enfin le jour sur l&rsquo;album <strong>Strange Days<\/strong>. Krieger joue du slide sur sa Gibson SG mais c&rsquo;est un son de scie musicale qui s&rsquo;en extirpe, et le solo de guitare final est \u00e9tonnant. Plusieurs nappes viennent renforcer le synth\u00e9tiseur Moog de Ray Manzarek, afin d&rsquo;illustrer l&rsquo;un des plus beaux po\u00e8mes incantatoires de Jim. Il est pr\u00e9c\u00e9d\u00e9 sur l&rsquo;album par l&rsquo;effrayant <strong>Horse Latitudes<\/strong>. Un po\u00e8me bruit\u00e9 par le synth\u00e9tiseur Moog de Ray Manzarek, et \u00e9crit par Jim durant ses ann\u00e9es de lyc\u00e9e. Elle se fait candide au d\u00e9part, pour amorcer un crescendo qui finira par culminer au dessus des ch\u0153urs. D&rsquo;autres plus rationnels estiment que la g\u00e8ne occasionn\u00e9e par ces manifestations m\u00e9t\u00e9orologiques pousseraient ses habitants dans leurs derniers retranchements&#8230; Le fait est que <strong>Jim<\/strong> consomme de plus en plus d&rsquo;alcool, au point que de nombreuses s\u00e9ances studios se d\u00e9roulent en son absence. Tr\u00e8s d\u00e9\u00e7us par celle du premier album, les Doors ne souhaitent pas voir leurs visages figurer sur le second. Optant pour une \u0153uvre qui soit le plus conceptuelle possible, Jim demande \u00e0 ce que le nom du groupe et le titre de l&rsquo;opus n&rsquo;apparaissent pas non plus&#8230; Holzman craignant pour son investissement, une affiche des <strong>Doors<\/strong> sera placard\u00e9e sur le mur de droite.<\/p>\n<h4 style=\"text-align: left\">\u00ab\u00a0J&rsquo;aimerais un truc qui rappelle La Strada, ou Dali, une bande de farfelus \u00e0 la Fellini.\u00a0\u00bb Jim Morrison<\/h4>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">La photo prise dans le vieux <a href=\"https:\/\/culturesco.com\/index.php\/2019\/07\/20\/didier-delinotte-new-york-sixties\/\">New-York<\/a> par <strong>Joel Brodsky<\/strong> respecte bien le d\u00e9sir du chanteur.
