The Head on the door<\/strong> est incontestablement le grand virage pop de Cure d\u00e9j\u00e0 en partie amorc\u00e9 par Robert Smith<\/strong> sur le pr\u00e9c\u00e9dent opus du groupe The Top <\/strong>en 1984. Il sort en ao\u00fbt 1985 et Robert Smith le compose int\u00e9gralement. L’album marque une rupture d\u00e9finitive avec la magistrale trilogie Cold Wave<\/a>: Seventeen Seconds<\/strong>, Faith<\/strong> et Pornography<\/a>.
\nCure acc\u00e8de gr\u00e2ce \u00e0 ce disque \u00e0 une renomm\u00e9e internationale avec des titres plus populaires qui vont se loger rapidement aux sommets des Charts. Personne n’a oubli\u00e9 le raz de mar\u00e9e provoqu\u00e9 par In Between day’s<\/strong> et Close to me<\/strong>, les deux singles qui ont propuls\u00e9 la notori\u00e9t\u00e9 mondiale de Cure.<\/p>\n
