A <strong>Culturesco<\/strong>, leur opus pr\u00e9c\u00e9dent, le bien nomm\u00e9<em><strong> WTF??<\/strong>\u00a0<\/em>avait \u00e9t\u00e9 l\u2019un de nos disques f\u00e9tiches de l\u2019ann\u00e9e 2025. Ici d\u00e8s l\u2019introduction de <strong>Nephology<\/strong>, la premi\u00e8re plage de ce manifeste d\u2019<strong>Electro Krautrock<\/strong>, \u00e7a groove dans tous les azimuts. La basse de <strong>Malka Spigel<\/strong> joue \u00e0 l\u2019\u00e9lastique avec les tambours de <strong>Matt Schulz<\/strong>. <strong>Colin Newman<\/strong> sort un riff \u00e0 la <a href=\"https:\/\/culturesco.com\/index.php\/2021\/09\/16\/electric-warrior-le-manifeste-glam-rock-de-t-rex\/\"><strong>T Rex<\/strong><\/a> puis estompe un parlando, sur une descentes de guitares et des boucles de synth\u00e9s. Alors <strong>Malka<\/strong> r\u00e9plique en chantonnant une m\u00e9lop\u00e9e irr\u00e9sistible&#8230;<\/p>\n<h3>Immersion &#8211; Nephology &#8211; What Is Lost Will Return (2026)<\/h3>\n<div class=\"youtube-embed\" data-video_id=\"YORun9h61Jw\"><iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"Nephology\" width=\"696\" height=\"522\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/YORun9h61Jw\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/div>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">C\u2019est l\u2019une des qualit\u00e9s et des distinctions des travaux du duo : leur art de l\u2019\u00e9quilibre subtil des voix. Celle de<strong> Colin Newman<\/strong>, si diff\u00e9rente, que l\u2019on conna\u00eet bien depuis <strong>Wire<\/strong>, en chant comme en parler-chanter, r\u00e9pondant ou \u00e0 l\u2019unisson de celle de <strong>Malka Spigel<\/strong>, plus douce et \u00e9th\u00e9r\u00e9e, apportant souvent une nouvelle m\u00e9lodie au morceau. Il y a peu d\u2019\u00e9quivalences \u00e0 leurs tour de passe-passe dans le Rock, hormis les complaintes des Ricains de <a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Yo_La_Tengo\"><strong>Yo La Tengo<\/strong><\/a>, avec l\u00e0 aussi un couple,<strong> Ira Kaplan<\/strong> et <strong>Georgia Hubley<\/strong>. Nous l\u2019avions d\u00e9j\u00e0 signal\u00e9, mais ici le projet s\u2019approche de l\u2019univers des faux Nippons de <strong>Fujiya &amp; Miyagi<\/strong> (Lire : <a href=\"https:\/\/culturesco.com\/index.php\/2026\/07\/02\/fujiya-miyagi-pistes-meconnues\/\"><strong>Fujiya &amp; Miyagi &#8211; pistes m\u00e9connues<\/strong><\/a>).
