Il a fallu attendre pr\u00e8s de six ans avant la suite de <strong><em>Start Treatment<\/em><\/strong> en 2016.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Petit rappel pour ceux qui ne conna\u00eetrait pas ce groupe devenu mythique parce qu&rsquo;il faisait suite \u00e0 un autre groupe qui va ressembler progressivement \u00e0 celui-ci, \u00e0 savoir <strong>16 Horsepower<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Et, curieusement, il faut se plonger dans les racines d&rsquo;un groupe&#8230; fran\u00e7ais.<\/strong> Etonnant, non\u00a0?<\/p>\n<h3><em>Orchestre Rouge &#8211; Soon Come Violence<\/em><\/h3>\n<div class=\"youtube-embed\" data-video_id=\"zUjZUse_0YY\"><iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"Orchestre Rouge - Soon Come Violence\" width=\"696\" height=\"392\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/zUjZUse_0YY\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/div>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Alors vite fait, tout commence par <strong>Orchestre Rouge<\/strong>, au tout d\u00e9but des eighties avec pour particularit\u00e9 d&rsquo;avoir au chant un am\u00e9ricain qui va en imposer. <strong>Th\u00e9o Hakola<\/strong>, offre ses vocalises \u00e0 <strong>Martin Hannett<\/strong>, ni plus ni moins que le <strong>producteur<\/strong> attitr\u00e9 de&#8230; <a href=\"https:\/\/culturesco.com\/index.php\/2020\/07\/22\/joy-division-closer-40th-anniversary\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Joy Division<\/a>. Eh oui, carr\u00e9ment\u00a0!&#8230;<\/p>\n<h3><em>Pation Fodder &#8211; Heart Hunters<\/em><\/h3>\n<div class=\"youtube-embed\" data-video_id=\"E3P6VHjfy_8\"><iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"Passion Fodder - Heart Hunters\" width=\"696\" height=\"522\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/E3P6VHjfy_8\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/div>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Ensuite le groupe devient<strong> Passion Fodder<\/strong> pour un rock plus country et politique. A sa disparition, la rythmique rencontre<strong> David Eugene Edwards<\/strong>, engag\u00e9 dans un folk d\u00e9sincarn\u00e9 d\u00e9di\u00e9 souvent \u00e0 la religion, d\u00e9j\u00e0, mais sans exag\u00e9ration.<\/p>\n<h3><em>16 Horsepower &#8211; American Wheeze (Live)<\/em><\/h3>\n<div class=\"youtube-embed\" data-video_id=\"THlgU-8dMYg\"><iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"16 Horsepower - American Wheeze\" width=\"696\" height=\"522\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/THlgU-8dMYg\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/div>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Le trio devient alors <strong>16 Horsepower<\/strong> et va combler les amateurs de <a href=\"https:\/\/culturesco.com\/index.php\/2019\/06\/21\/nick-cave-livre-paroles-de-fans-aux-editions-camion-blanc-par-pedro-penas-y-robles\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>Nick Cave<\/strong><\/a> ou de <strong>Tom Waits<\/strong>. Eux aussi se s\u00e9parent. Ainsi \u00e0 ses d\u00e9buts, <strong>Wovenhand<\/strong>, d\u00e9coup\u00e9 en deux parties <strong>Woven Hand<\/strong>, se conjugue surtout avec un r\u00e9el c\u00f4t\u00e9 folk. Mais le c\u00f4t\u00e9 rock revient au fil des albums jusqu&rsquo;au sublime <em><strong>Reflaction Obscurate<\/strong><\/em> en 2014, suivi de pr\u00e8s par <em><strong>Star Treatment<\/strong><\/em> en 2016, encore plus d\u00e9fonc\u00e9 que le pr\u00e9c\u00e9dent et pourtant plus convenu.<\/p>\n<h3><em>Wovenhand &#8211; Duat Hawk\u00a0<\/em><\/h3>\n<div class=\"youtube-embed\" data-video_id=\"kHOO_0WizNI\"><iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"Duat Hawk\" width=\"696\" height=\"522\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/kHOO_0WizNI\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/div>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Et voil\u00e0 que six ans plus tard <strong>Wovenhand<\/strong> donne une belle suite \u00e0 son \u0153uvre. <em><strong>Silver Sash<\/strong><\/em> reste dans la lign\u00e9e d&rsquo;un rock teigneux o\u00f9 le folk a disparu.<strong> Ce qui change l\u00e9g\u00e8rement est la reverb institu\u00e9e comme obligation ce qui augmente la conviction que David Eugene Edwards devient un pasteur chamboul\u00e9 par ses contradictions<\/strong>. Et c&rsquo;est l\u00e0 que constitue la belle surprise, celle d&rsquo;un album que certains trouveront monocordes ou monotones, sauf que c&rsquo;est justement l\u00e0 qu&rsquo;il veut nous emmener et la fascination n&rsquo;en est qu&rsquo;amplifi\u00e9e.
