Pour cela, il r\u00e9cidive en convoquant un nouvel ensemble orchestral, <strong>The Platinum Anniversary Orchestra<\/strong>, additionn\u00e9s de <strong>Jo Quail<\/strong> et de <strong>A. A. Williams<\/strong> sur certains titres. Apr\u00e8s la r\u00e9ussite totale d\u2019un premier live \u00e0 New York avec <strong>The Wordless Music Orchestra<\/strong> enregistr\u00e9 neuf ans plus t\u00f4t, le groupe avait envie de r\u00e9cidiver et l\u2019id\u00e9e \u00e9tait carr\u00e9ment excellente.<\/p>\n<h3><em>Mono &#8211; Meet Us Where the Night Ends<\/em><\/h3>\n<div class=\"youtube-embed\" data-video_id=\"KeMDJYeK164\"><iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"MONO - Meet Us Where The Night Ends (Live with the Platinum Anniversary Orchestra)\" width=\"696\" height=\"392\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/KeMDJYeK164\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/div>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Voici donc avec <strong><em>Beyond The Past<\/em><\/strong> (titre d\u00e9j\u00e0 de leur dernier EP), en douze titres, deux rappels compris, pr\u00e8s de deux heures de musique en apesanteur o\u00f9 ce qu\u2019on appelle d\u00e9sormais <strong>le post rock s\u2019int\u00e8gre dans nos cerveaux comme une succession d\u2019impression qui d\u00e9passe l\u2019imagination<\/strong>. Les temps calmes sont anxieux mais l\u00e9gers, les envol\u00e9es lyriques sont foudroyantes de beaut\u00e9 et d\u2019angoisse. Entre le paradis et l\u2019enfer, il doit bien exister quelque chose. C\u2019est l\u00e0 que Mono veut nous emporter afin de voir avec eux s\u2019il existe un au-del\u00e0 correct ou tout au moins une autre vie possible apais\u00e9e quoique tourment\u00e9e. Les contradictions sont l\u00e0, pr\u00e9sentes, \u00e0 l\u2019image de l\u2019embl\u00e9matique <strong>\u00ab\u00a0Ashes In The Snow\u00a0\u00bb<\/strong> o\u00f9 le fond apocalyptique final s\u2019accorde avec une m\u00e9lodie r\u00e9p\u00e9titive mais d\u00e9velopp\u00e9e au fil de la progression du titre. Black Emperor.
