Existe-t-il <strong>une suite \u00e0 ce formidable album ?<\/strong> Soyons honn\u00eate : <strong>non<\/strong>. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=H_GvVnPsUeg\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><em>Congratulations<\/em> <\/a>(2010), <a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=DGMXOfpdgF8\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><em>MGMT<\/em><\/a> (2013) et <em><a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=e0QT4N-5PA4\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Little dark ag<\/a>e<\/em> (2018) n\u2019ont pas la maestria de ce premier essai. L\u2019aspect d\u2019avantage psych\u00e9d\u00e9lique d\u00e9velopp\u00e9 dans ces trois derniers Lps, s\u2019il est louable, n\u2019approche pas l\u2019ouvrage \u00e0 l\u2019\u0153uvre dans <strong><em>Oracular Spectacular<\/em><\/strong> : <strong>du point de croix.<\/strong><\/p>\n<h3>MGMT &#8211; Kids<\/h3>\n<div class=\"youtube-embed\" data-video_id=\"VHb_XIql_gU\"><iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"Kids\" width=\"696\" height=\"522\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/VHb_XIql_gU\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/div>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Les titres<\/strong>, tels des <strong>assemblages de c\u00e9pages \u00e0 la recherche d\u2019un grand cru<\/strong> : Cabernet-Sauvignon et Merlot, ou une s\u00e9lection de <strong>la meilleure orge malt\u00e9,<\/strong> c\u00e9r\u00e9ale susceptible de produire un whisky single malt de haute lign\u00e9e, <strong>explore les m\u00e9lodies sur plusieurs plans.<\/strong> Les \u00ab ponts \u00bb qui les unissent ne sont pas tranchants, trac\u00e9s tout en progression pour en <strong>am\u00e9liorer l\u2019impact \u00e9motionnel<\/strong>. Lorsque la musique est model\u00e9e de cette fa\u00e7on, qui plus est amoureusement, elle retentit \u00e0 l\u2019oreille plurielle du m\u00e9lomane \u00e9pris tant d\u2019<strong>originalit\u00e9 <\/strong>que d<strong>\u2019\u00e9quilibre.<\/strong><\/p>\n<h3>Time to pretend<\/h3>\n<div class=\"youtube-embed\" data-video_id=\"B9dSYgd5Elk\"><iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"MGMT - Time to Pretend (Official HD Video)\" width=\"696\" height=\"392\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/B9dSYgd5Elk\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/div>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Pour celles et ceux qui abordent <em>Oracular Spectacular<\/em> par son <strong>aspect \u00ab dance \u00bb<\/strong>, impression qu\u2019il d\u00e9gage au prime abord, l\u2019enregistrement devient assez vite \u00ab autre chose \u00bb. De fait, on peut <strong>s\u2019y agiter en cadence<\/strong> mais \u00e9galement <strong>s\u2019y enivrer,<\/strong> plong\u00e9 au c\u0153ur de l\u2019alambic. Le sillon n\u2019\u00e9tant pas avare de nectar, <strong>l\u2019addiction guette<\/strong> qui engage l\u2019auditeur \u00e0 changer de Face aussi promptement qu\u2019il ou elle puisse le faire. R\u00e9miniscences mod\u00e9r\u00e9es, elles s\u2019ing\u00e8rent sans chausse-pied car <strong>savamment condiment\u00e9es<\/strong>, made in<strong> 2000<\/strong>.
