Toute l\u2019originalit\u00e9 de l\u2019album et les apports de cette nouvelle voix tiennent dans \u00ab <strong>Epic<\/strong> \u00bb, titre annon\u00e7ant la <strong>pouss\u00e9e d\u2019adr\u00e9naline radiophonique,<\/strong> l\u2019unanime <strong>adh\u00e9sion du microcosme rock.<\/strong> Il contient la pierre philosophale des alchimistes, le nombre d\u2019or des math\u00e9maticiens, <strong>l\u2019assemblage de notes et l\u2019orchestration myst\u00e9rieuse<\/strong> : la Marque. Ils <strong>perforent l\u2019auditeur,<\/strong> purgent les r\u00e9ticences. Alors, puisque l\u2019arriv\u00e9e du <strong>chanteur<\/strong> signe cette r\u00e9ussite, comment ne pas lui en attribuer <strong>le m\u00e9rite<\/strong> ? M\u00eame si la presse sp\u00e9cialis\u00e9e s\u2019en fait \u00e9chos, ce serait r\u00e9ducteur de ne pas y associer les <strong>autres musiciens<\/strong>, chevilles ouvri\u00e8res de l\u2019<strong>accessit au succ\u00e8s.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">D\u00e9monstration : <strong>La guitare d\u00e9chire<\/strong> la membrane des enceintes, tranche des lamelles de distorsion tel un rasoir les poils raidis sur les joues des aventuriers. Nonobstant, l\u2019aff\u00fbtage des notes, plus <strong>prompt \u00e0 l\u2019\u00e9gorgement<\/strong> qu\u2019au rasage, saigne les partitions. Mercuriel, <strong>le synth\u00e9 reconstruit<\/strong> ce que la rapi\u00e8re a d\u00e9truit. Si <strong>la fluidit\u00e9<\/strong> du jeu de batterie de <strong>Mike Bordin<\/strong> assimile le maniement de l\u2019instrument \u00e0 un jeu d\u2019enfant, <strong>la basse gifle<\/strong> tout ce beau monde, griffe leur Metal <strong>\u00e0 coups de slap<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<h3>FAITH NO MORE &#8211; Surprise ! Quid ?<strong> D\u00e9fourailler de tous les c\u00f4t\u00e9s !<\/strong> L\u2019oreille s\u2019\u00e9baubit d\u2019une telle aptitude \u00e0 la d\u00e9sorienter. Le terme qui vient \u00e0 l\u2019esprit ? <strong>Schizophr\u00e9nie<\/strong>. En fait, cet album se situe au plus pr\u00e8s de ce que Freud dit de la folie : \u00ab <em>Ceux que l\u2019on nomment \u2018fous\u2019 sont une r\u00e9alit\u00e9 de la vie sociale<\/em> \u00bb. La musique que propose <strong>\u00ab Angel dust \u00bb image<\/strong> \u00e0 merveille <strong>son \u00e9poque<\/strong>, singe une soci\u00e9t\u00e9 \u00e9prise de d\u00e9cadence, d\u2019o\u00f9 sa contemporan\u00e9it\u00e9 et l\u2019engouement qu\u2019on lui voue. Pourtant, en studio, chaque musicien enregistre ses pistes dans son coin sans plus croiser les autres. La pomme d\u2019amour cache un vers en son sein, un t\u00e9nia qui grignote les hommes, tunnelier opini\u00e2tre creusant une muse autrefois commune. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=9kGhzf5cESU\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Mr Bungle<\/a> en est la preuve : Mike Patton aime errer. Alors, cet <strong>assemblage de formidables chansons<\/strong> c\u00e9l\u00e9brera le c\u00e9libat. Adieu tous, rendez-vous dans une majorit\u00e9, disons dix-huit ann\u00e9es ?<\/p>\n<h3>Last cup of sorrow<\/h3>\n<p>https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=FtIwfugF1zw<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>2015<\/strong>. Par quel miracle les musiciens parviennent-ils \u00e0 <strong>ranimer la flamme<\/strong> qui les a vus m\u00e9daill\u00e9s d\u2019or au sommet d\u2019Olympie ? Toujours est-il que \u00ab <strong>Sol invictus<\/strong> \u00bb brille de ce Metal pr\u00e9cieux. S\u2019il reste un ton au-dessous des deux pi\u00e8ces d\u2019artillerie lourde du groupe, c\u2019est par l\u2019<strong>aspect un rien contemplatif de ses chansons.<\/strong> Plus Colombine qu\u2019Arlequin, m\u00eame s\u2019il dresse un poing sur quelques titres, <strong>le gant de cuir tourne au velours.<\/strong> De plus, le piano sert de fondations \u00e0 la plupart des titres, certes magnifique mais d\u2019avantage \u00ab <strong>mainstream<\/strong> \u00bb que le synth\u00e9 pass\u00e9. Peux auraient pu se permettre une telle absence puis revenir <strong>en vedette dite \u00ab am\u00e9ricaine \u00bb<\/strong>, celle qui cl\u00f4t la journ\u00e9e. Quid de visu ? La prestation manque d\u2019\u00e9clat mais assure un <strong>bon niveau d\u2019\u00e9nergie et d\u2019int\u00e9r\u00eat.<\/strong> Compar\u00e9 au concert du <strong>5 avril 1995<\/strong> \u00e0 l\u2019<strong>Elys\u00e9e Montmartre<\/strong>, Rock en Seine ranime le flamme. Les <strong>\u00e9clairages<\/strong> sont <strong>fabuleux<\/strong> et <strong>la musique<\/strong> \u2026 quels mots pour la d\u00e9crire ?! \u00ab <a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=WoDamvrfUbQ\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Low<\/a> \u00bb, l\u2019album que Bowie paru en 1977, fait cette impression-l\u00e0.
